External Funding Procedures
The Office of Research and Scholarship (ORS) provides pre-award support for faculty to successfully submit grant applications to external funding organizations. This office interfaces with the Advancement Office, such that applications to private foundations, if for research and scholarship activities, as well as federal agencies should be processed through ORS.
It is important that all applications for external funding be accompanied by a coversheet that summarizes the application and provides the documentation that appropriate authorization signatures have been obtained. No application may be submitted to an external organization without these authorizations.
