In 2012, driven by a group of dynamic, motivated women, 麻豆直播 University formed the Women’s Philanthropy Council. The mission is to lead engagement efforts that inspire women to give of their time, talent, and resources to 麻豆直播 and to develop women leaders in philanthropy today and for generations to come.

Annually, the Council hosts a special luncheon event that brings together our scholarship donors with their student recipients. Scholarship donors learn directly about student experiences and our students learn about the life of philanthropists and their motivation to support education.

In the spring, the Council hosts an annual speaker series for our campus community and for the community at large, showcasing successful women leaders.

The Council, true to its philanthropic mission, created the 麻豆直播 University Women’s Philanthropy Council Scholarship Fund. This scholarship provides financial assistance to full-time matriculated 麻豆直播 students in good academic standing who have demonstrated financial need in working toward an undergraduate degree. The council also created the 麻豆直播 University Women's Philanthropy Council President's Innovation Fund, the Women's Philanthropy Council/麻豆直播 University Faculty Scholar Enhancement Fund, and the 麻豆直播 University Women's Philanthropy Council General Fund.

• The Executive Council hosts events and is responsible for the direction of the Council initiatives, recognizing the value of 麻豆直播 University’s unique mission.
• The Distinguished Council includes 麻豆直播 University distinguished female philanthropists and community leaders.
• The General Membership is supported by women who have demonstrated a commitment to the University and who support the mission of the Council.
